How can I monitor if customers have seen the invoices I have sent them?

If you want to know if your customers have seen the invoice you've sent them, then we recommend that when sending the invoice you select "edit message" and ensure you do not select "include PDF attachment".

By removing the PDF, your client will only have the option to click on the online invoice link. When they click on the invoice link this is recorded in Xero and the invoice will now appear as 'viewed', letting you know that customer has seen the invoice.
